Ever wonder why a metal building is so extremely inefficient.. its because most of them use a plastic covered fiberglass to insulate a very leaky (by nature) metal building.. However when i built my shop i installed spray foam on the walls and ceilings. my building is air tite, 30′ by 40′ with 12′ ceilings and heats and cools with very little cost… not to mention that the humidity is easily controlled so we are very comfortable.
